Fairtrade Status & Goldsmith's Scheme
Fairtrade Gold is sourced exclusively from small-scale mines which meet the Fairtrade Gold Standard - an internationally recognised marker of best-practice for workers' rights and environmental protection. Anne Morgan Jewellery is a member of the Goldsmith Scheme, which allows us to create our jewellery in Fairtrade Gold, and maintain Fairtrade standards in Wales. As much as possible we use recycled gold at Anne Morgan Jewellery, and most of our suppliers only work with recycled gold bullion. We always recycle all our scrap gold. Although we don't have a full collection created in Fairtrade gold at present, we do have Alison Macleod showcasing at the gallery.
Alison is a talented maker who creates her pieces solely in Fairtrade Gold.
