Anne Morgan Jewellery are thrilled to present two beautiful collections of work from Kokkino Jewellery.
Melanie, the designer and maker behind Kokkino, makes use of sterling silver, gold plating, oxidisation and vitreous enamels, to produce a sophisticated colour palette and range of subtle surface textures in her pieces. A graduate from the Jewellery School in Birmingham, she creates ethereal yet wearable unique pieces, ranging from everyday glamour to catwalk drama.
Over her 14 years as designer, Melanie has built a reputation for creating beautiful pieces with a modern twist, considered design and exquisite craftsmanship. Her work has been shown in many prestigious exhibitions including Goldsmiths Fair and most recently at the Museum of Art and Design in New York.
The pieces are textured and formed using traditional and modern innovative techniques, making them incredibly tactile and often incorporating mobile elements, allowing the wearer to interact with the jewellery and bringing each piece to life.

ELECTRA
Kokkino's Electra Collection is formed from a clutch of cascading silver discs with a beautiful subtle texture. Enhanced with a blush of 24ct gold-plating, this collection of handmade silver jewellery is designed to be unique and modern with a timeless style.

TARGET ENAMEL
Melanie uses the circle - the purest, simplest form - in her Target Enamel Collection to let the colours speak for themselves. The beautiful, vibrant ,vitreous enamels are all applied with a quill in the old traditional way, and kiln fired at around 1000 degrees to give clarity and shine.
Melanie has sent us a selection of jewellery in Lime, Teal and Kingfisher Blue from her original and still most popular collection. Other colours are available to order on request. Ask in the gallery for more details.
